Depending on the priority of the task, any decent task with a higher priority
or more pressing needs could well steal back that 0.5% - this is what
pre-emptive multitasking is all about, so it's not a fixed amount. And looking
at it may well be a quirk of whatever CPU monitor you're using, since none
of them are perfect (no, not even Executive's)

Chances are that the 0.5% is the side effect of filtering input through
commodities.library, which is the whole point of a commodity. This isn't
going to stall your system by any means.

And 0.5% of a 68060's time on an otherwise idle system - isn't very much at all.

What did "Reboot" do anyway?
